Reusable templates with Liquid variables, strict\_variables validation, optional defaults through variable\_schema, and HTML autoescaping for rendered expressions. Works cleanly with component-based email workflows.

Queue email for a specific time with a single field. Reschedule in place with PATCH, and invalid timestamps return 422 instead of triggering an immediate send.
* Batch sending  
Send up to 1,000 messages in one API call with a 207 multi-status response. One failed message never blocks the rest.
* Attachments  
Send files as Base64 attachments with any email.
* Webhooks and events  
Real-time notifications for delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, and complained messages, plus gateway rejection, injection timeout, queue expiration, cancellation, daily-limit, and system-failure events. Add tags and metadata to message resources and filter message lists by them.
* Email inboxes  
Receive email on inboxes on your verified domains or the shared inbound subdomain. List and search inbound messages, organize threads with labels, and reply, reply-all, or forward with one call.
* Sandbox testing  
Test delivered, bounced, deferred, complained, and rate-limit flows using reserved @test.telnyx.com recipients. No real email sent, no billing or reputation impact.
