# Call Queueing with the Telnyx Voice API

# New Feature Release: Call Queueing

We're excited to unveil call queueing capabilities, now available via the Telnyx Voice API, Call Control.

Users making API-enabled phone calls can now add calls to a queue using the [enqueue](https://developers.telnyx.com/api/call-control/dial-call) command, and remove calls from the queue using the [leave\_queue](https://developers.telnyx.com/api/call-control/dial-call) command. Information about call queues can also be retrieved using [call queue commands](https://developers.telnyx.com/api/call-control/dial-call), including valuable alerting metrics:

* The length of time a given call has spent in a queue
* A given call's position in a queue
* The number of calls and average call wait time in a given queue.
