# Telnyx Adds message.read Webhook for RCS Read Receipts

# RCS read receipts via message.read webhook event

Telnyx RCS customers can now track when recipients open their messages using the new message.read webhook event. This event fires as soon as a recipient reads an [RCS message](https://telnyx.com/products/rcs) on their device, providing real-time read receipts for your campaigns.
