# Webhooks for IoT SIM Status Changes

# SIM Card Status Change Webhook Notifications

### 24, Jan 2022

You can now send webhooks to your applications to notify them when one of your SIM cards changes status. This adds more visibility into your SIM behavior, so your applications can know when any of your SIMs are enabled, disabled, or on standby. This functionality is especially useful in knowing when one of your standby SIMs has been activated via [usage-based activation](https://telnyx.com/release-notes/usage-based-activation).

You can configure SIM Card Status Change notifications by adding a new setting in the [notifications section of your Mission Control Portal](https://portal.telnyx.com/#/app/account/notifications/settings), or find out more about notifications in our [support knowledge base](https://support.telnyx.com/en/articles/4277896-notification-settings).
