# Telnyx and Node-RED integration

Today we are excited to announce Telnyx’s integration with Node-RED!

[Node-RED](https://nodered.org/) is an open-source programming tool that offers a visual development environment for building applications. Node-RED's flow-based programming model allows users to interconnect pre-built nodes to create services and applications.

These nodes each perform a unique task or function – reading data from a sensor, processing data, decision-making, interacting with external systems, and more. By dragging and dropping these nodes onto a canvas and linking them together, users can visually construct and configure an application's logic flow.

Telnyx has several resources to help you make the most out of the node-red-telnyx integration including [Node-RED pages](https://flows.nodered.org/node/@telnyx/node-red-telnyx), Telnyx’s [Node-RED developer documentation](https://developers.telnyx.com/docs/development#node-red), and [example flows](https://flows.nodered.org/flow/5aa1fec6ccb1ef9a719c6a78b838eb31).
