As the Telnyx telephony engine becomes more complex over time, there were some challenges that we had to overcome to ensure that it continues to run smoothly. This presentation outlines such challenges and how we're currently monitoring and testing the telephony engine from our customer's perspective (out of band) outside of the Telnyx backbone to ensure that all types of calls (inbound, outbound, TLS, SRTP, e911, t38, etc.) are completed without issues. This monitoring setup allows us to detect early issues before customers even notice anything. It also allows us to detect issues in the development environment before deployment into production.
