Telnyx adds Murf AI, and MiniMax voices to Text-to-Speech

We’ve expanded the Telnyx TTS voice portfolio with three new high-quality voice providers: Murf AI, and MiniMax. These additions give developers more flexibility to craft natural, expressive speech for any use case from AI agents to immersive content apps. These voices are now available through Telnyx Voice API, Voice AI Agents, and as part of our standalone TTS service.

What’s new

Murf AI Murf specializes in professional-sounding voiceovers with a wide range of styles. It’s known for realistic voice cloning and ideal for training content, media narration, and dynamic experiences where tone matters.

MiniMax MiniMax offers premium-quality with impressive clarity and nuance. It’s a go-to choice for real-time applications where natural delivery are non-negotiable.

Getting started

1. Log in to your Telnyx Mission Control Portal account
2. Generate an API key for the TTS API
3. Navigate to Real-time communication → Voice → Settings → TTS Playground
4. Choose Murf AI, or MiniMax as your voice vendor and test it.
5. Send text to synthesize and receive an audio stream or file in real time.
