Introducing codec selection for Voice API and TeXML in the Mission Control Portal

We are excited to announce that users can now select from a list of codecs for Voice API and TeXML applications directly from the Mission Control Portal.

The selection of codecs can be found under “Inbound Settings” in your Voice API or TeXML application.

How codec selection works

The codec selection will be taken into account during codec negotiation for inbound calls, which can be crucial when integrating with external systems that support only a limited number of codecs and involve media streaming. To learn more about codecs, visit our support article.
