Telnyx adds eSIMs to the Mission Control Portal

Today we’re announcing the arrival of eSIMs to the Wireless offering on the Telnyx portal. eSIMs can be installed on compatible mobile devices by simply scanning a QR code.

Our eSIM profile leverages the same international footprint as the physical SIM cards giving access to 400+ roaming partners worldwide.

How do I get started with eSIMs?

You can purchase bundles by logging into your Mission Control Portal account and navigating to the Wireless section on the left-side navigation. From here follow these simple steps:

1. Click on the Purchase eSIM button on the top right
2. Set the amount to the number of eSIMs you wish to purchase
3. You can optionally select a specific SIM group to assign these to (this can be done later as well through the SIM Cards management page)
4. If you wish to use the eSIMs immediately set the status to Active
5. Click on the Purchase button
6. If a single eSIM was purchased the QR code to scan is displayed.
7. If multiple eSIMs were purchased a list will be displayed with a link to each QR code
8. Scan the QR code using your device, allow a few minutes for the eSIM to install and activate
9. Once installed, add the Telnyx APN on your device and begin using your international eSIM!
