New Feature: Telnyx Video Calling with React Native Support

Telnyx is delighted to announce support for video calls with the release of the latest version of our WebRTC SDK. The Telnyx WebRTC SDK now also supports React Native for easy integration into mobile applications. Get started building mobile video calling applications in minutes with our provided examples.

Telnyx video calls support VP8 and VP9 video codecs which can be enabled in just a few clicks via the Mission Control Portal. Keep an eye out on our release notes for more news soon about JSON Web Tokens and Programmable Video to truly take control of your video communications by leveraging Telnyx.

Version 2.0.1 of our WebRTC SDK is designed to use our latest architecture and is available through npm for easy install and open-sourced on GitHub. Documentation and a React demo app are available on GitHub to get you started in minutes.

Internally, we use our WebRTC across our website and Mission Control Portal. Check out our Web Dialer and Click2Call implementations as examples of how we’re already using the WebRTC product at Telnyx.
