how Replicant chose a voice API

Replicant uses state-of-the-art voice technology and machine learning to solve customer problems, collecting knowledge from each interaction to become smarter over time.

Replicant Co-Founder (Real Time Analytics)

Built on the Telnyx Call Control API, Replicant delivers authentic conversations driven by sophisticated real-time analytics. Watch a clip from our video interview with Replicant co-founder and CTO, Benjamin Gleitzman, to learn what he was looking for in a programmable voice API:

For Gleitzman, there was no substitute for the low-latency webhooks and access to call audio packets offered by Telnyx Call Control:

“Latency is, of course, a huge concern for us. We want to be quick.I’m sure we’ve all had a very frustrating experience of a laggy zoom call or speaking with a robot or virtual agent that took three, five, maybe ten seconds to respond over the phone. This is a recipe for frustrating your callers until they mash 0 or scream for an agent, so Replicant always strives to respond under one second - that’s very much thanks in part to the high-speed Call Control APIs that are offered by Telnyx. In addition, I would say that Telnyx Media Forking gives Replicant low-latency access to the audio packets to be able to feed our AI models. We did a survey of the scene, and, in many cases, Telnyx was the fastest provider that was there on the market.”
