Have you ever used a rideshare app like Uber and made a phone call to your driver? It's a ubiquitous use-case, so much so that most people don't even give it a second thought.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes to make that phone call happen.
In the first of a series of live webinars showcasing the Telnyx Voice API, dev advocate Dan sheds some light on this application. Using our brand-new Java SDK, Dan builds a simple masked-number calling Voice API application.
Masking the real phone numbers on either end of the call protects the privacy of both parties. It also safeguards both parties by preventing any contact from taking place outside the app.
