An A2P campaign denial is a setback. A denial with no explanation can stall a client's entire messaging program. For Rauph Souleimanov, that second scenario had become a familiar frustration.
"I have worked with other services before where the process wasn't super clear," said Souleimanov, CEO and founder of SystemLaunch, an automation agency that builds AI and SMS systems for real estate professionals. "Whenever there was any denial or any questions, we didn't know what went wrong and what needed to be changed."
So when he went researching providers for phone numbers and an SMS API, he reached out to a long list of companies and compared the developer experience directly.
"My experience with Telnyx was that the API was very clear, and all the documentation was very well done," Souleimanov said. "As a person that works a lot on the backend and creates stuff on the backend, that was super important."
The difference showed up again when he began taking client campaigns through A2P registration, a process that had been a black box elsewhere.
"Telnyx was very helpful. That's what I thought Telnyx did really well," he said. "When I saw that, I started using it more and more for other things."
"I build most of my automations through n8n and HTTP requests," Souleimanov said. "The entire documentation was so clear that you don't even need the native application within the automation software for it to work well."
"After getting all the API keys done, right away we were able to implement SMS registration and phone numbers for our campaigns, which we got approved, and then the SMS API itself," he said. "That was really easy, honestly really great."
That rollout has since become the agency's default stack. "All my clients that I've worked with now actually use Telnyx for all of their SMS API," he said.
Those clients are real estate professionals sitting on databases full of contacts who need consistent attention over text. The opening message is the easy part.
"It could be communicating with existing customers and making sure that communication is done, or a customer database that needs to be consistently followed up with over text," Souleimanov said. "Throughout the communication, that's where the AI piece comes into place."
Property owners lean on the same systems. "I have multiple landlords that have tenants in place, and there's a lot of tenant communication," he said. "When they have listings and they're selling properties, they have AI bots that I've created through Telnyx and automation software that communicate with people. That's been really, really well done."
Many of those conversations begin with a number a customer typed into a website form, so SystemLaunch screens contacts with Number Lookup before the first message goes out.
"I utilize the Telnyx API with phone number verification to make sure that the phone numbers they're sending messages to are even valid," he said. "The API for that is really nice as well."
Souleimanov shepherds every client through brand and campaign registration himself, so he judges providers by how well they explain the rules.
"If somebody is in the same field as me, or they're trying to get started texting, calling, or implementing phone numbers into their systems, having a company like Telnyx that makes the 10DLC process clear is very important," he said.
When a niche scenario comes up, help starts inside the platform itself.
"The AI agent within Telnyx, where I can just message it and it helps me with the correct API, has been super helpful," he said. "And if that can't solve it for some reason, Telnyx has been a great support as well. I've had a great experience whenever something didn't go right or I couldn't figure it out."
SystemLaunch uses a focused slice of the platform today, even with Voice AI and calling within reach.
"I know Telnyx offers so much more than that, with the voice AI and other parts," Souleimanov said. "But the biggest thing for me has been the ease of use when it comes to the SMS API, and also the cost."
"Honestly, I believe that Telnyx provides a great product for a great cost, and when you are running a business, cost is important," he said. "Definitely, one hundred percent, that's been a big thing for my clients."
For any enterprise weighing the same move, his case comes down to a rare combination.
"Having a product that is cost efficient, easy to use, and has great support is honestly a great combination for almost any professional or any business that's looking to implement these things into their business," he said.
