Inbound Call Screening Is Now Free

What's Changing

Inbound Call Screening was previously a paid add-on feature billed on a per-number basis. Going forward, there are no charges to enable or use Inbound Call Screening on any number in your Telnyx account.

Why We're Making This Change

  • Adoption: We want every customer to benefit from call screening without pricing being a barrier. Broader adoption means better protection across your entire number portfolio.
  • Compliance: Inbound Call Screening helps customers meet FCC spam and robocall mitigation requirements, including alignment with STIR/SHAKEN. Removing the cost removes a friction point for compliance.
  • Quality: Wider use of call screening improves call quality across the Telnyx network by reducing unwanted and fraudulent inbound traffic for everyone.

What You Need to Do

No action is required. If you already have Inbound Call Screening enabled, it will continue to work exactly as before.

From a billing perspective, you will no longer see charges for Inbound Call Screening on your next invoice. If your billing cycle closes at the end of this month, your statement should already reflect this change.

If you haven't enabled Inbound Call Screening yet, you can turn it on at no cost from the Telnyx Portal or via the Numbers API.
