Telnyx Text-to-Speech (TTS) is now available as a standalone service

We’ve expanded our Text-to-Speech capabilities to make the Telnyx TTS available as a standalone service, so you can generate lifelike speech in real time, independent of any telephony workflow. This new release lets developers use Telnyx, AWS Polly, and Azure voices through one simple API integration. Whether you're building a conversational app, accessibility feature, or interactive media tool, Telnyx delivers expressive, real-time speech generation with minimal latency.

Getting started

1. Sign up or log in to your Telnyx Mission Control Portal account.
2. Generate an API key for TTS API using the user icon on the right menu.
3. Navigate to Real-time communication→ Voice →Settings →TTS Playground.
4. Choose your voice vendor Telnyx, AWS Polly, Azure Speech or Elevenlabs
5. Send text to synthesize via API command and receive an audio stream or file in real time.
