Telnyx Expands Text-to-Speech Capabilities with Neural Voices and ElevenLabs Integration

We’re excited to announce two major enhancements to our Text-to-Speech (TTS) services: Neural voices powered by AWS Polly and Azure AI Speech, and a new integration with ElevenLabs. These updates provide Telnyx users with high-quality audio and greater flexibility in managing TTS services.

1. Neural Voices from AWS Polly and Azure AI Speech

Telnyx now supports Neural Text-to-Speech (NTTS) engines from AWS Polly and Azure AI Speech, delivering advanced, natural-sounding audio experiences. Unlike standard concatenative synthesis, NTTS technologies leverage neural networks to produce speech with improved intonation and fluidity, ideal for applications requiring high-quality voice interactions.

Additionally, Telnyx now offers integration with ElevenLabs, enabling users to connect their own ElevenLabs accounts to Telnyx’s TTS services. This integration gives users access to a broader range of voice options, empowering them to customize voice interactions without additional Telnyx fees.
