Telnyx Expands Text-to-Speech Capabilities with Neural Voices and ElevenLabs Integration

We’re excited to announce two major enhancements to our Text-to-Speech (TTS) services: Neural voices powered by AWS Polly and a new integration with ElevenLabs. These updates provide Telnyx users with high-quality audio and greater flexibility in managing TTS services.

1. Neural Voices from AWS Polly

Telnyx now supports AWS Polly’s Neural Text-to-Speech (NTTS) engine, which provides an advanced, natural-sounding audio experience. Unlike standard concatenative synthesis, NTTS leverages neural networks to produce speech with improved intonation and fluidity, ideal for applications where high-quality voice interactions are critical.

2. ElevenLabs Integration

Additionally, Telnyx now offers integration with ElevenLabs, enabling users to connect their own ElevenLabs accounts to Telnyx’s TTS services. This integration gives users access to a broader range of voice options, empowering them to customize voice interactions without additional Telnyx fees.
