We’re excited to announce that four new special destinations are now available in the Outbound Voice Profile settings. Customers can now control whether calls to these additional international destinations are allowed—directly from the Mission Control Portal or via the Telnyx API.
The following special destinations have been added to the Outbound Voice Profile under Special Destinations:
International Maritime Satellite (inmarsat)
Satellite communication services for maritime vessels
Global Mobile Satellite System (gmss)
Mobile satellite communication services
International Networks (intlnetworks)
International network destinations
Universal Personal Telecommunications (upt)
Personal telecommunications services
These destinations join the existing Universal International Toll-Free (uitf) option that was previously available.
From the Outbound Voice Profile page in the Mission Control Portal, customers can toggle these special destinations on or off. When enabled, calls to these destinations will be allowed for users on that voice profile.

Customers can also manage these special destinations programmatically using the Telnyx API. The whitelisted_destinations field in the Outbound Voice Profile accepts the following values for special destinations:
